Rene Reche was into music at an early age just listening to all kinds of stuff he could get his hands or more likely his ears on. Listening to jazzy hiphop and funk music he got interested in the funky side of house music and into artists like Daft Punk, Ian Pooley, Roger Sanchez, Armand van Helden and Laidback Luke got his full attention. Being hooked on housemusic the next step for Rene resulted in the start of his DJ career at the age of 17. In the years after he developed his DJ skills and unique sound that got a lot of appreciation by the crowd he played to. His style of music is best discribed as funky uplifting beats with percussive elements and influences from funk, soul and jazz therefor sax, trompet and piano are often included in his choice of music. Rene’s DJ sets are smooth and precise, but also banging and peaking on the right moments.

Because of his constant performance and active mixing style using technique’s such as scratching, loops and mix tricks he keeps the sound on the dancefloor energetic and fresh. A real crowd pleaser and a party DJ in every sense that brings his love and enthousiasm for the music he plays on to the dancefloor and the crowd he plays too.

Working hard as a DJ paid off for Rene, playing all over the partyscene in Holland and getting lots of positive vibes. He also is supported by big names like Laidback Luke wich resulted in an gig of Luke’s own night ‘Nighttime Superheroes’ at the biggest club of the Netherlands the Paradiso in Amsterdam. In 2007 Rene Reche has won the ‘most talented DJ of Limburg 2007’ award, wich is a great recognition for his work and resulted in numerous gigs on big parties and venues like Bozzini, Club Rembrandt, etc.

In the summer of 2008 Rene rocked the outdoor parties by performing on Extrema Outdoor, Solar Weekend Festival and Freefunk Festival.
