'Rektchordz' is 26 year-old Bristol dweller Jamie Smithson, already heralded in many quarters as one of the brightest young things in the Electro House & Tech-Funk firmament. Over the last 5 years Jamie has had a hugely successful string of originals and remixes with U&A, Simma, Lot 49 and Straight Up Music, along with remixes by Calvertron, Lee Mortimer, Vaski, Elite Force and Meat Katie. The Rektchordz name has had continued support from major players such as Laurent Garnier, James Zabiela, Popof, Hatiras, Micky Slim, Radio One, Santiago & Bushido etc.. On the performance front, Jamie has performed throughout the USA and Europe including his residencies @ fracture-Lot 49 (London/Birmingham) Breakbeat Massive (Budapest) and Breakspoll award winning 'The Drop' (Bristol).
