“We can change things only after we’ve changed ourselves”
The track “RevoultionAir” was composed in 2006.
After 5 years, inspired by French writer/philosopher Gurdjieff
and his theories about the interior journeys of human beings, the
Electronic duo Redrum Alone decided to remake this song, bringing
to light an eclectic and modern “2011” version.
Revolutionair now sounds more like an urban and cloudy trip, which
is going to carry us to a new robotic and futuristic civilization.
The voices filtered by the cold sound of vocoders, tell us a
story about a philosopher able to travel through the time, as
a “revolutionary” spirit. While he observes amazing landscapes
he feels the beauty of an interior revolution, which subsequently
enables him to change the reality externally.
The word “revolutionair” (revolutionary in English) has been
borrowed from the French dictionary, creating a play on
words “revolution-air” when transferred into the English language.
