Red Pill formed at the beginning of 2006 from a brilliant idea of Daniele and Pora both already experienced in the music field (Direzionale 70, Awkward, Coldbringer). They started playing at the Rebel Yell Studios, and just after the recording of some songs' idea they started looking for other players willing to join the still nameless project. First they found Alle, an excellent aggressive bass player coming from different a multifarious experiences in original and cover bands. With the new line up the not-yet Red Pill continued to arrange and complete the songs they already recorded. Unfortunately the band was still incomplete. So they started looking for another guitar player when, in a night of February 2006 in a famous local pub, Pora met Nino a guitar player with not-so-lucky former experiences in original and local cover bands. The three guys arranged a rehearsal for the following week. They met at the Rebel Yell Studios and started to play some metal covers. The four guys realised they have the same ideas and the same (bad) taste in music, so they began to arrange and compose new songs. Willing to play live they prepared their first show, the Rock Against Indifference (June 2006), performing some covers of Machine Head, Motley Crue, Slipknot and their three new-born songs. It was successful, so Red Pill continued to write new songs and to play live in different places in and outside Modena.
In November 2008 after 2 years of gigs and great time spent together; Alle decides, along with the rest of Red Pill, to leave the band. Red Pill thank him for everything he did in the band. Soon after that, in December, the band recruits a new bass player, Nick (also Unbirth) who brings new air and ideas to the band, which is now ready to kick some ass again!
