“This song is the perfect explanation for what it means to be a human being in love with danger and risk-taking in relationships,” says Jesse. It began as a loop of hand claps and gradually evolved into an emotive ballad worthy of applause. Dorian recalls “I loved the clap sounds Marc made, and when Jesse came in, he just killed it.”

Written by Jesse Boykins III (USA). Produced by Gora Sou (GER). Programming by Gora Sou, keyboards by Dorian Concept, backing vocals by Andrea Balency.

The 'Various Assets – Not For Sale' compilation holds some of the happy accidents and magical moments that happened during the Red Bull Music Academy in Madrid 2011. People from all corners of the world found companions in sound, and discovered they spoke a similar language despite contrasting backgrounds and methodologies.

Here we will be presenting a new track each day, previewing the forthcoming Various Assets double CD compilation which will be released on February 24.

Chances are you might hear some of these artists playing a festival or two this year, or dropping an EP that turns your dance floor upside down. If that's the case, reset your compass points, and join us en route to who knows where.
