Need a gift for a gifted musician?
Known for their energetic and
feel good live shows, producers Evan Corrigan and JP Stiles have forged a unique reputation in the blossoming electronic scenes of both New Orleans and Baltimore since forming their electro-dance project RedAline in early 2012. With roots in the Maryland Pop Punk scene, this electro-acoustic duo has combined their instrumentation backgrounds with their love of electronic dance music into an unrivaled live music experience.
Throughout high school, Evan and JP spent countless hours polishing their skills and experimenting with different sounds. JP played drums in local pop-punk bands Virginia Grace and Clue City, while Evan honed his composition and piano skills. Their musical paths finally crossed during their sophomore years at Tulane University. Evan discovered a heightened interest in electronic music production, and began to rapidly transition his natural talents into versatile Ableton knowledge. After their first attempt at jamming together, JP on the drums and Evan behind his Keyboard and APC, they knew that they were onto something incredible, something fresh and innovative in the EDM world. This past year, RedAline has acquired its own definitive sound and crafted a unique live set up; a combination of acoustics drums, keyboards and live DJing. Recently RedAline picked up a sponsorship with Risen Drums and had their music featured in Olympian Caroline Queen’s promo video.
There’s no telling what 2013 holds for this talented and dedicated duo, however one thing is for sure; a RedAline performance is an experience not to be missed, and never to be forgotten.
