Red Eyes is a bass music dj / producer duo, based in Gent, Belgium.
2 longtime mates with a different musical background: Ken (aka X&trick) has been travelling the world as a dj and producer for the past decade, while Jasper has been focussing on his work for television, while constructing beats in his homestudio. They started out as an electronica band with guest vocalists somewhere in 2009, while in january 2011 they decided to focus on a music style which they loved from the start: Dubstep and bass related music.
They've signed singles and ep's with labels like Phantom Hertz (USA) and Mindtrick Records (NL). Both well received, they quickly gained support by international dj's, producers and bassheads.
In 2012 they've got signed by Belgium's Dj Murdock on his Broken Music label, and their tunes started to get played on national radiostation 'Studio Brussel'. Later that year they also released their debut album 'Spatial' which got a massive response on a global level.
With explosive live and dj-sets (often featuring Mc MessenJah) all over Europe, they've also been building a serious dancefloor reputation.
Next to the deeper bangers, they constantly push boundaries into a wide electronic influence with bits of garage, house, hiphop, drum'n'bass and electronica,
This results the unique and versatile sound of Red Eyes.
