Jamie Irie was raised in the multi-cultural heart of Gloucester, England. Growing up, Irie listened to Big Youth, Tappa Zukie and the Mighty Diamonds, as well as his friends Daddy Freddy, Tenorfly, and Sir Coxson HIFI, who all influenced him and helped to grow his love of Jamaican dancehall and Reggae music.
Irie lived and recorded music in New York and Kingston 13; and deejayed with Shaggy, Elephantman, Ninjahman, Buju Banton, Chuck Fender and sang with the Mighty Stone Love Sound & Bodyguard Sound.
Collaborations with Jamaican superstar producer Sly Dunbar (Sonic Sound); as well as with Computer Paul, 7 17 Marshal (Mr Fender), and Don One (New York) lead to him achieving Jamaican chart hits with "M16" and "Sweet Sensimilla" with Gigsy King.
Currently, Jamie is working on a new EP with top reggae band, "HOUSE OF RIDDIM" (Austria) and producer/remixer RCola (Canada). Their "Irie Cola" tour is taking them all over England as well as a headlining spot at the 'Zverafest' in Latvia.
