RATBATH, residing in Toronto. My influences include psychedelics, UFOs, space, soul, drip mops, throwies, all-nighters and nice weather. Born in '91. Started making music in 2010. My photography and artwork can be seen on the Tumblr. The music I make is almost always sample-based, mainly because finding the perfect loop gives me shivers. I can sit and bang away at the pads for hours a day and by the time I come to I'm about ready to fall asleep. Because of this, I might not upload new tracks for months, and they will sit in my hardware building nests and communicating with each other as I abuse them from time to time. I believe I will eventually suffer from carpal tunnel syndrome. I am willing to give up the feeling in my hands for however many years of beat making I have left
