Ras Kass is a critically acclaimed rapper from California. After releasing a pair of independent singles, Ras Kass emerged as one of the most highly regarded new rappers in some time, winning particular acclaim for his skills as a lyricist (in the space of six months, he twice earned Rap Pages magazine's Rhyme of the Month award as well as The Source's Hip Hop Quotable honor).

Ras Kass is best known for his classic album Soul On Ice, as well as his follow up album Rasassination, and his unreleased projects Van Gogh and Goldyn Chyld.

Recently, Ras Kass has been working on creating series of Independent albums and performing shows across the globe. He is also a former member of the rap supergroup The HRSMN. Look for Ras' new album F.I.L.A (F*ck It Loseit All) in early 2012.
