About

Ransom & Locke, a DJ/Production duo coming from the East Midlands made up of Ben Perrett and Sam Young. Creating and mixing a variety of electronic music genres, both currently studying Audio Production at the University of Lincoln.

After releasing their EP Labrat in late 2011 their local fan base has increased and talent was noticed by Lincoln's primary Dubstep/Drum & Bass/Electronic event Awooga gaining a resident placement.

During early 2012 they were asked to remix Crossfaders release Vanity (Part II) by American label 9G Records. Focusing back on their own material they experimented with a live element to their production techniques including the use of guitar.

They are now writing for their new album due for release May 2013 with various singles/remixes to be released along the way.
