RAM i/0, or RAMIO (M.Reijnen 1980 Netherlands) is since his youngest years fascinated by sound and music. He grew up in the era that house music did his entrance.

At early age he made his own mixes by cutting cassette tapes of his parent and pasted them together. When he was 17 he decided to start producing and bought his first equipment around his Atari 1024 ST as sequencer. Beside that he started DJ-ing at local clubs and parties for a couple of years.

After many years of experimenting, recording and learning he developed his own unique style based on repeating minimalistic grooves, deep atmospheres and often pounding kicks.

Most of the time his music can be best described as techno with industrial influences.
RAM i/0 likes to experiment with sounds and uses a lot of samples in his music. The sources of the sounds can be anything, so don’t be surprised to hear drills, grinders, trains, or whatever in his music. Sometimes the sounds are manipulated to unrecognizable.

In 2003 he teamed up with Skintex. They formed the group Coresoundz as a project to work together and made a couple of hardcore tracks. In 2010 they decided to put Coresoundz to the next level and started publishing under this name as record label. After that things were going faster. More music came into the public arena. And that line is continuing. In 2012 he started also releasing on other labels.
