@Roy.Bear: It's not because it's too many tracks, at all. In fact, this is only 4 tracks total, including drums. It is 16-bit because of the chip used (Yamaha YM2164) is an FM chip very similar to the one found in the Sega Genesis (YM2612), a 16-bit gaming console.
