Raf Pisani was born in Ischia, an island located in the Bay of Naples.
He has his first approach to the music when he was two years old, launching the pots of his mother on the floor to listen to the noises caused by them!!!
Then his father tried to give him a musical education without any results.
He made to listen him classical music such as “Barber of Seville” but the child didn’t like this kind of music.
Then Raf discovered other LP’s of his father, Beatles, Joe Cocker, Pink Floyd etc and began to play them on an old wooden turntable.
It was the mid-eighties and the wave of pop dance hit him in full.
He loved artists such as Samantha Fox, P.Lion, Depeche Mode, Mike Oldfield, Kool & the Gang and all the eighty bands.
At 13 years he started to go in the discos and to the private parties and so discovered the disk jockey’s figure.
He bought in a short time his first decks and started to play at home, many hours pro day.
In that period he began to play to the first parties and at 16 years old he was contacted by an agency and went to play in discos, big parties in the streets, on the beaches, on the mountains, in televisions, to national events etc.
In the following years he decided to increase his music knowledge, starting a course for producers by NUT Studio in Naples where his teacher Vinci Acunto (sound engineer, producer) taught him “the art of mixing”.
In 2007 he began a course for electronic music producer/live performer launched by Vinci and Rosario Acunto with the collaboration of Giancarlo Lanza, Walter Del Vecchio, Rino Cerrone, Gaetano Parisio, Carola Pisaturo, 2 members of Planet Funk, Enzo Rizzo, Bob Fix, Danilo Vigorito and Sergio Delle Cese.
Today he produces techno-funky-minimal-electro music working with several labels and playing as dj or live performer in a duo called NEAPOTECH.
