Since their formation in 2010, the DJ and production duo RaceCarBed has been gaining momentum in the Baltimore music scene for their high-octane live sets and charismatic club presence. Members Eric “Bagel” Stevens and Stanley Trutsi, have had a long love of music from the beginning. For the last decade the duo has been in several local bands including Boy Crazy, Mir and the Moon, The Everlove, The Gentlemen, and the Dialogue. Eric and Stan are both trained and seasoned instrumentalists with the proficiency for Guitar, Piano and Keyboards/Synths.

After years pursuing their passion and ability for traditional band-oriented music, the duo decided that their love for groups like Daft Punk and Crookers to producers such as Diplo and A-Trak, was taking them in a different musical direction. Enter: RaceCarBed.

From solid club to high BPM Juke, trap and hip-hop, to Moombahton, RaceCarBed play the perfect blend of beats that will electrify every dance floor. The duo’s no holds barred attitude and underground-sound driven style has caused for much attention from peers in and outside of Baltimore. In May 2012 RaceCarBed landed the direct support slot at Ram’s Head Live on a bill with international superstar producer and DJ, Rusko.

RaceCarBed rocks multiple shows on a weekly basis on top of their requisite studio devotion. Between their weekly E-villa party, their resident bookings at Posh Cavern and Electric Marmalade at the staple club Red Maple, as well as seeming to end up on everyone else’s party, you can expect RaceCarBed to soon be a household name.

The duo has previously opened for Rusko, Baauer, Samo Sound Boy, Deathface, Sigma, Krueger, Flufftronix, James Nasty, Murder Mark, and Massacooramaan, among others. For upcoming original productions and remix work, check out:
