      @theSubaru: Every once in a while bands will release stems, for a competition or something. The way I did it was to build up a small portfolio of unofficial remixes, then submit them to labels. I did this through email, or through friends. It's kind of hard at first to get your foot in the door, but if you're persistent, it gets easier.
