Jaroslav Fiala was born on September 24, 1973. In 1999, he graduated from the Prague Conservatory, where he studied composition and arranging with Professor Angelo Mikhailov.
Since his studies he has taken part in various projects ranging from pop to medieval-inspired music, e. g. with bands such as Cormalen Celebrian and Jagabab. Other original projects he has been a part of are: Synthesis Sun, Ambient drift (ambient) and Komerčná záležitosť („A Commercial Activity“, rock), where he worked both as a composer and arranger.
Since 2000, he has been active as a music teacher and electronic and electro-acoustic music consultant. His other major focus is song-writing and music production.
Lately he has been working mostly on composing for film and modern electronic dance music. His debut album called XX will be released shortly.
