Which version of "Finally" and "Let no Man Put Asunder" did Larry Levan use for this mix? I can't find a version with those keyboards!

Sorry, First Choice was the original track which its sampling. Chances are the remix wasnt out on Salsoul though although around the early-mid 00's a lot of Salsoul's back catalogue was re-issued complete with original & instrumental versions, rhythm tracks & acapellas etc & some did feature remixes. Its been sampled so many times before though so I cant really say what that version is if its not amongst those.
Many of the acapellas he uses on here, or that are sampled in tracks he plays are part of the Acapella Anonymous series. There was about 10 volumes with the 1st 4 or 5 containing loads of the really popular disco, 80s groove & early house tracks that he played at Paradise Garage if that helps anybody :-)

@Fico: Oh right, you meant "everyday of my life" dunno about that!

    • R_co
      R_co at 37.03 on December 04, 2009 09:01

@Fico: I think that sample has been used a few times, but the new track that your thinking of is probably 2000 And One - State Of House, Its also been used way before that in Kym Sims - Too Blind To See It
