windows-7-x64-ms-paint-exe
Awesome, music-like sounds result. It's on youtube at: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2xZgCVG_Bzk
For those who are wondering, I believe the large amount of plays this has gotten were mostly from reddit.com, but other sites such as youtube can account for some of them, as well as the tracks page on soundcloud.
This is the Windows 7 x64 edition of mspaint.exe. I used Adobe Audition to import and edit the audio, but one could just as easily use Audacity's "import Raw Data" feature. I imported this as 8-bit, 22050hz stereo audio. I faded in the beginning, as well as removing a long section of noise part of the way through. I also added a bit of phase distortion, as well as reverb and equalization.

You guys don't know about desktopcore, do you? It's noise music mixed from data files. http://archive.org/details/TFN286 - my 2009 album.

what's most impressive is our brain's ability to create meaning for what has no meaning.

Can't wait for the remixes of this. It's ripe for being cut up.

Now lets execute Mozart's requiem or the last hit of Lady Gaga ;-) This is very special.
