Hi, I am Mike and welcome to my SoundCloud page. I am using this site as an outlet for my musical projects both present and past.

I write in a number of genres and styles and play different instruments depending on the project but mainly bass (both fretted and fretless), acoustic guitar and keyboards/synths including the usual programming.

Hopefully something for everybody on here and expanding all the time.

The Old songs set will contain songs that I have written and produced in previous bands so on here for prosperity and so they don’t just gather dust electronically ;-)

Currently writing an albums worth of EDM material.

I play bass in a band called ARCC who create and play live improvised rock, jazz, world, funk music to short film – we literally do not know what we are going to play until we start, we just decide the keys to play in 10 minutes beforehand. Sometimes it works sometimes it is a bit of a struggle but it always keeps me on my toes as a musician. We played the Bandstand stage at the Glastonbury festival last year which was great fun. I occasionally collaborate with an amazing raw talent going by the name of Eleenium who is a singer/songwriter from Estonia. So watch this space and check out http://www.youtube.com/user/eleenium
