About

Artist, singer, songwriter, producer, lover, friend. Making my dream come true with nothing but my voice, my mind, an iPhone and a pair of earbuds.

My life has always revolved around music. I started singing at the age of three and started playing the piano at the age of four. As an elementary student, at Prairie Vista Elementary, I sang in the PUMA's Club, and earned the opportunity to sing every solo I auditioned for. As a middle school student at Michiana Christian Montessori, I sang various amounts of time, both alone and with a group, also at Stanley Clark School, I sang in their choir and participated in the concert band as well, on the alto saxophone in the 7th and 8th grades. By my freshman year in high school, I had written my first song, ever, entitled "Together (I'm Sorry) and had joined the chamber choir there. I did this that year and my sophomore year. By the end of my sophomore year, I had made the life altering decision to transfer high schools for my junior and senior year. For those two years I participated in the Marching Band, and concert/ Symphonic bands there. All this time, and I have still never had any vocal coaching, or private lessons, etc. I had to teach myself how to play the piano, which I do by ear, play the alto saxophone, which I only read music for, and sing, which I can by ear and read.

As of today I am currently attending the University of Kentucky in striving to achieve a degree in Business Management, why? Because my parents always told me that working for someone else will get you nowhere in life, so I decided to strive for the Boss position. As for a career, I'm am currently looking in the Music Production industry, but that's far down the road, but it's still under consideration.

As of right at this very moment, I am dreaming. Dreaming of my name being in the same conversation as Chris Brown, Rihanna, Jay Z, Beyonce, etc. I am working an perfecting my musical craft, how? By making music. And by "making" I mean taking my 16 gig iPhone, the Garageband app on it, and some ear buds and walking down to the UK Fine Arts practice rooms, and recording my own original songs. NOTE: This app is very limited, no auto tune, not that big of a variety of instruments, etc. It is a very basic app, yet I seem to have achieved some level of musical standards with what I have been working with. I write my own lyrics, I make my own compositions, and I produce myself, with no help from anybody. This is my dream, and I promised myself that one day, my mother wouldn't have to work, break her back, etc. Another day in her life, before retirement. That's a promise I intend to keep.

My dream is to be able to entertain thousands upon thousands, in the hopes of inspiring those who too dream to make it in this world. I know one day my star will shine brighter than those in the night sky, I know on day the spotlight will shine on me and my voice will be heard. One day, my dream will come true, but I know it won't be given to me, I know I will have to work harder than ever before if I want this to be real. So , this is me, this is my journey to becoming bigger than life itself, this is my story.
