Music and lyrics by Purple Zippers
Produced, Mixed and Mastered in Audiobit Studios, Bogotá, Colombia

For the 7th release on Overcooked Records, we introduce you to our first release by a live band, Purple Zippers, whom are a Colombian electronic 3-piece band blending styles and elements from glitch to rock, disco, and electro.

Founded in 2010 by its producers in New York & Bogota, within a year time, the trio had gone on to play at some of the largest festivals around their country joining names such as The Presets, The Sounds, Bag Raiders, The Twelves, CSS, amongst many others.

"The Moon" is the first official release for the 3 piece band and they made sure not to disapoint. Two tracks that remind you of the Crazy P style yet meeting the attitude of LCD Soundsystem.

The first track off the EP, "Freeze" delivers a warm and friendly atmosphere that makes sure to put a smile on all your faces during the summer. "The Moon" brings a more sentimental feeling to the release and gives you a taste of the French touch.

Mighty Mouse (Cheap Thrills) – "great EP, will support !"
Peo De Pitte (U&A Recordings) – "Yeah sounding good man, I like the Freeze track !!!"
Frederik Mooij (Loudroom Records) – "groovy release !"
HeavyFeet (Plant Music) – "Really like the sound of these, big up :)"
Birdee (Southern Fried Records) - "The Moon is a very cool track!"
Dan Aux (Klub Kids) - "I like them both! nice heavy electro funk"
Hexadecimal (Distinctive Records) - "sounds great, good stuff!"

Extra supporters include Indecent Exposure Magazine, Throb Magazine, Reckless Radio, Joy FM, Flux Rock, Radio Central, and many more.
