Pure Underground's path began in the 90's when two brothers fascinated by the underground scene started exploring the world of distinguished electronic sounds.
They discovered many different styles, from ambient to agressive twisted electronics. After some time, they discovered the acid and free tekno scene...

In year 2000, they adopted the name 'Pure Underground' and keep it till today. Within next years, they produced more and cooperated with other producers, performed live and released their first tracks (Techno Trip Volume 4).

In year 2006, brothers established their own label in order to release their own music and that of other talented producers from Poland.

In this year, vinyl PU004 was released. It was a combination of PU's acid tracks and hard nrg tracks by the Osmo. This release quickly gained recognition in France; moreover, it was one of the first Polish acid techno releases ever.
Soon after this one, PUD01 was released, its style could be described as industrial-break.Tracks 'Rising' and 'Cube'became popular in the UK; James Zabiela placed the first one in his compilation 'One+One' that was released by Ministry of Sound. 'Cube' gained recognition among the Radio One DJs and was played by them for quite a long time.
Soon afterwards, PUD002 was released, its title was 'Message is in the music' and it was created in cooperation with Y-Niso and Karem Cover.
In the meantime, PU worked under many different nicknames, such as Generation Terrorists, Dead Cops, Manic Knobber, Sacred Geometry and Sound Doctors. They performed in many clubs and on teknivals across Poland.
