Producer, live performer, musician, DJ and sound engineer. Enthusiast of old, analog instruments and field recording, at the same time seeking new forms of expression in software and controllers, also during stage performances. Author of dark productions being an amalgam of dense dubby ambience, intensely
processed guitar sounds, deep analog bass and diverse beat patterns reaching to such genres as 2step or techno.
ptr1 is the author of the critically acclaimed Above The Structures EP released by Concrete Cut in November 2010 as well as many remixes for artists such as Inanna, Teielte, Tom Encore, Substep Infrabass or Liquid Molly, just to mention a few. He is also cooperating with Crude Records (Canada), which released his EP done together wih Substep Infrabass in 2011, and Loveless Records (USA), which published two of his remixes for Inanna.
Carte Blanche EP, self-released by ptr1 on http://ptr1.bandcamp.com/ in July 2012, is the producer's newest release. The concept of this EP has been continued on the Carte Blanche Remixed project, published in January 2013, containing 16 remixes from artists such as Teielte, Liquid Molly, Artfruit, Enn, Blackleg and many others. ptr1's plans for the nearest future include work on another EP and the first full-length album as well as some new live performances.
