Rick Kidson aka Dj Psydways started his dj-ing endeavors in 2002 by creating and hosting a radio program called "The Hotel Yorba" soon to morph into "The Track Lab" on a Maine community radio station: WERU-FM. Once a new wave-punk-garage-rock show, it became a strictly electronic dance music program in 2003. This was also about the time that Psydways started his experimentation with the turntables and the very first Beltek Festival was being planned. Fast forward to 2013......
Dj Psydways has hosted and performed for many events and has become known for his full-on, hard hitting styles. Punchy, hard, techy, vocal-laden drum-n-bass, hard-styles and dubstep is what to expect. If you want a pulse pounding body moving experience then step right up.... and hold on tight baby!
Equipment used for recordings: Pioneer DJM-600, Numark TTX-1 turntables, Pioneer CDJ-800 players, and Audacity on a pc for recording.... That's all folks!
