The Psychedelic Psychonauts are a pair of young veterans of the restaurant industry who make, play and record music using a home studio thrashed together from various computers, screens, and cheap recording equipment in the bassist's living room.

Their names are Jelani Buchanan and Daniel Drake and they are promising and talented, with a penchant for potential energy. They kicked off their music project in March of 2011, and are moving quickly to where they hope to be.

They want to make an impact, change the world, get people to think, and get people to dance. Everyone has to start somewhere.

Their sound consists of funk and flair, class and attitude, using smooth bass lines and enchanting sounds, infectious rhythms and lyrical diversity to deliver an irresistible beat and a message of philosophical awareness.
