Psy Fi aka Miles Ross is on a nationwide rampage throwing events, playing major events and making psychedelic bass music. Whether you’ve been to his weekly party in Eureka CA, Whomp Whomp Wednesdays, cruised the burning man playa stirring up trouble and rocking dance floors or rocking out at a club in Austin TX for SXSW, if you were in attendance chances are you’ve remembered it and are highly anticipating the next event.
Lately Miles has been hard at work in the studio crafting up next generation psychedelic dubstep music. With an arsenal of cutting edge software and live instrumentation, Psy Fi is on the cutting edge of creating a melodic sound while continuing to deliver nasty and hard hitting beats to the dancefloor. In 2011, PSY FI joined label mates Mr Rogers, Ratchet and Wink on a 27 state full US tour playing at some of the nations most well attended events including SXSW in Austin, TX.
His debut EP STAR KNIGHT on ooze system records, Charted #2 on Addictech.com among the likes of Tipper, Birds of Paradise and Opiuo for 2 straight weeks and gained worldwide attention. PSY FI is set to release his NEW LIFE EP in early 2013 on Gravitas Records followed by a tour with Hypha

The music is the message on PsyFi's debut EP, Star Knight out July 1st on ooze system records. There's a metaphysical depth coursing through the layers of sound. The duality of the nature of consciousness is explored in each track serving as the question and the answer.

the aptly named title track, "Star Knight", evokes a sense of intergalactic exploration. Upon the first few notes the imagination is stirred allowing each of us to become the star knight, on a quest mapped by the intricacies of the composition. PsyFi is melodically tapping into a wistful longing for universal connectivity while rhythmically igniting the sensation of dancing among the stars. The delicate nature of balance is explored, reminding us that while we are each all alone we are at the same time all one.

"Double Tap" is the audio acceptance that there is actually nothing to be longed for. Its a celebratory anthem of the inter-connectivity of all. PsyFi is delivering a reminder of the undeniable fact that the force is with us and beyond that we are that force. The careful craftsmanship is apparent and the effortlessness of true synergy is achieved.
