Daniel Michael (P.52.S) Daniel Michael Chicago 2016: This year, I plan to release a few thematic LPs of original folk/americana songs. 2013: The (Half) Year of Jazz. Like Project 52 Songs, I intended to post one song per week - the difference being that these were all to be jazz standards. However, life got in the way, so I had to stop this project after about four months. http://yearofjazz.wordpress.com/ 2012: "The Robot". The album is best described as experimental-vocaloid-folktronica with a touch of ambient. The album is available for name-your-price download at the-robot.bandcamp.com. 2011: Project 52 Songs: I spend this year writing, recording, and producing a song each week. I was thrilled to be made "SoundClouder of the Day" (#SCOTD) during this project. Many of the songs are still available here. In addition to this work, my folk/protest album, “Traitor” was released on August 9, 2011. It is available at iTunes: http://itunes.apple.com/us/album/traitor/id455176631 Comments by Daniel Michael (P.52.S) Comment by Daniel Michael (P.52.S) @kellyanne-1: Thanks! I'm glad there are still people out there who appreciate the great versatility of the accordion. 2013-02-10T23:02:30ZComment by Daniel Michael (P.52.S) @fredvangestel: I appreciate that. I was a bit nervous about the vocals being so exposed on this one... and about singing in falsetto. 2013-02-10T22:59:34ZComment by Daniel Michael (P.52.S) @davidmcwilliams: Thanks for listening! 2013-02-10T22:58:28ZComment by Daniel Michael (P.52.S) @mmastalka: Thanks! Throughout 2013 I am attempting to produce one jazz standard a week. I'll post all these here, of course, but you can follow the project closer at yearofjazz.wordpress.com if you are interested. I look forward to hearing more of your stuff that you post as well. Thanks for listening! 2013-01-30T19:51:19ZComment by Daniel Michael (P.52.S) @leilani-roosman: I'm glad you enjoyed it.
