DJ Gon is rooted in Wilmington, NC where he spends his time organizing, booking, networking and throwing raging parties for the non-profit organization that he co-founded: PROJECT CHALK. Project Chalk is a unique group on the rise that promotes community and creativity as outlined by the 10 Burning Man principles: http://www.burningman.com/whatisburningman/about_burningman/principles.html. Using this as his platform, he has gained a large fan base with his psychedelic tribal mixes that make even the most rigid human being incapable of containing the dance moves exploding from their body. He has had the honor of opening up for Infected Mushroom, one of his first musical inspirations, in Myrtle Beach, SC and is continuing to try to expand his musical network and fan base all over the east coast.
