Born and raised in South-East London, the son of an artist and a graphic designer/drummer. Music and creativity is nothing new to PRofit. Having been born deaf hasn’t stopped him in the drive for his passion.
Obsessed with word play and rocking a crowd, from radio to live shows PRofit is known for versatility, conscious lyrics all wrapped up in the essence of vibes.
Maintaining a strong sense of reputation, professionalism and good vibrations, he carries this ethos with him with his regular appearances in the UK to the US and Europe to Africa.

Driven by a love of Hip Hop and fusing that rhyme style when crossing genres he starting out in Garage and moving rapidly into the Drum and Bass. Almost immediately hitting the pirate radio circuit, performing on most of the major stations around London gave him a reputation to build on whilst moving swiftly into the club scene.

With the seal of approval from the likes of the Scratch Perverts, Skitz, Congo Natty aka The Rebel MC, Ali B and many others, the industry recognition as finalist for “Best Hip Hop” & “Best Male” at The People’s Music Awards, nomination for “Best MC/Vocalist” at the International Breakbeat Awards (The Breakspolls) and winning the GMI award for “Best Soundtrack” for the film “11 Minutes on Leicester Square” (Winner of “Best Film”) – displayed on the Home video screen in Leicester Square for a month.

Carrying a number of releases to his name, ranging from a host of singles, two EPs and collaborations spreading from the UK to Europe and as far a Russia, depending on which way you travel round the globe. Record sales have been seen from all ponds across the world.

Now with the debut album ready for release featuring appearances from the likes of Craig Blundell, Skitz, Mr. Ti2bs, Serocee, Mystro and Juxci Dee. Support from within inside the artist fraternity has been strong. The first single Push Back ft David Boomah and Shortston (remixes by Nick Thayer) received support from the likes of Diplo, Opiuo and Porter Robinson.

As well as his solo album PRofit has also been working as the front man and member of the four man outfit known as the Dancefloor Outlaws (Will Streetwise / Robin Parris / Justin Harris). With their live show in full effect and their debut album, ‘Delusions of Grandeur’, set for release this year there is certainly a sound wave coming!
