OK... The drums are great once the double kick comes in, but before that the drums are too repititious/monotonous (... I would l prefer busier, intricate rythms (more kick rolls, some triplet fills possibly... maybe not all the time, but the drum beat seems to stay the same until the double kick comes in. I think the distorted guitar comes in around 1:30... BTW, I would like a stronger, beefier tone from this distorted guitar... its a little thin, and i would prefer if this came in earlier. i do like the intro riff, however, very sullen and bordering on goth (I grew up on the Cure, Bauhaus, Skinny Puppy) because this intro never comes back in the track, and therefore, truly is an intro, I feel it should be for a shorter duration. The choppy end is great and very Tool-like (and the guitar is all of a sudden beefy... I would like all the distorted guitars to have the beefier tone). More aggressive choppy riffs throughout the song would be nice too especially coming out of the intro clean guitar to give greater contrast... the mood is sad at the beginning, then i want you to get angry all of a sudden, you know, show that you have some punch (like the ending). I'd also love to hear some solos from guitar to give the song more expression. Are you going to Mastodon & Dethklok... thought you might be a fan, because the genre of this track is closest to metal. You probably wouldn't expect these tastes from an electronic musician, but I play bass and guitar, as well, and love all modern music. BTW, the song needs a stronger galloping bass, not just doubling the guitar. Goddess, the ending is great. you are at the start of a great track. Use the ending as a theme throughout the song... its too good to be heard only once! All these are my opinion only, and I hope I have not offended you in any way. Hope to hear from you soon. Professor Zero.
