Create Or Be Created

I love tight production and hard-to-categorize styles. While there are genres of music that I particularly like, when it comes to me and my music, genres collide to form tracks that collectively define what I hear as an evolving and ambitious sound. My first official releases were under the name Totemplow (1996-2001) and were mostly guitar-oriented experimental ambient excursions, although I did get into sampling near the end of it. Some of my favorite press described Totemplow as "one of the deepest (as in depth charges) mixes around” (Andrew Bartlett/The Stranger) and "inspired ritualist on a journey through strange musical topographies" (Marc Kate) In the early 1990’s I played guitar and sang in a couple of psychedelic grunge bands in my hometown of Seattle. Those bands were Longbottom Weed (1989-91) and Shiva (1991-94). Create Or Be Created!
