Primal Filth Records is anything but your run of the mill music brand. The idea spawned in 2007 when high school friends and underground dance music enthusiasts Tyler Rutter, founder and driving force of the brand's development, and then bedroom DJ, John Zeidman (aka Dottkom), the inaugural member of the roster, decided to dive head-first into the music industry. Coming up through humble beginnings of house parties and rejection from any brand with established noteriety, the two decided to flip the switch and make it happen the only way they ever knew how - by doing it themselves.

The events that started as sporadic free weeknight shows in El Paso, (far west) Texas grew to 4,000+ person crowds pouring in to witness this new sensation within a year. Since the days of local line-ups, Primal Filth is responsible for bringing artists spanning the genre range from Figure to Hook N Sling into capacity crowds within El Paso's constantly booming dance music market.

As the brand has grown more successful with time, Primal Filth has taken on artists Ariok (Denver) and Mashur & Kevlar (Moscow/LA) and produced the first ever US Tour (2013) with the 3 artists, which included Euphoria Music Festival (Texas), WMC (Miami, FL), Las Vegas and Hawaii. The artists are putting extensive amounts of work into perfecting their new sounds that will be unleashed on the world over the course of 2013, along with the brand's instinctual drive to spread wider. Catch a live set and you might be lucky enough to catch some unreleased heat being tested on the floor - the passion radiating off our work is what makes us PRIMAL FILTH, and this come-up is what defines us.
