The Prestige Music Group is strongest effort from the Future Flavaz camp to support prominent artists by immortalizing their works on the undying format of vinyl recordings. Label founders Dyer, LT Smash, and DankOne, along with advice and direction from Stu of the well-known Cause4Concern outfit, have the intent to contribute to the best of their means. Beginning as a radio show and event production collaboration, the Prestige imprint came about through a desire to commemorate the scenes foremost talents and prospects in a United States based label. Originally formed in 2007 and distributed through Load Media, Prestige Music Group featured artists the likes of Redeyes, Alix Perez, Mutt, Syncopix, Pentagon, Ethix, Atlantic Connection, and Beta2. Later as Load Media dissolved, The Prestige Music Group regrouped to a new home with Triple Vision Distribution. Set for a relaunch in 2011, Prestige Music aims to build on the current fertile landscape of urban electronica with new vinyl pressings and now digital downloads. New releases are currently slated from the likes of Sinistarr & The Insiders. Expect more established and emerging talents to be added to the roster within the very near future.
