A1 'DMT Usher' / A2 'K Slap' / B1 'Duckdive' / B2 'Love, Drama Stress'
And so we present the first solo music adventures from Fis to the world. A Wellington, New Zealand native bred on a healthy diet of musical discovery and deep research into the deconstruction of rhythmic templates. His music has created it's own universe rumbling just outside any genre it comes close to.
After passing a CD early in his musical development to Presha in the Samurai Record Store, Fis has gone on to develop a style that has caught the ear of names like dBridge, ASC, Synkro, Consequence, Loxy, Indigo, Ulrich Schnauss, Resident Advisor and many more. RA were so dazzled by what they heard in an introductory mix from Fis on dBridge's Rinse FM Show they sought him out and featured him in a 'Breaking Through' article http://www.residentadvisor.net/feature.aspx?1580
This piece served as a powerful warning to the world of what was on the horizon, and could very well be the only interview with Fis for some time. The first musical release from Fis came via 2 collaborations with New Zealand's Tokyo Prose on the first ever Samurai Horo 10" (Samurai Horo001) but this will be his debut solo release.
We are very proud to present this, the 'Duckdive' EP as a considered introduction to a world that needs another true artist with an unconventional and totally individual approach. We will leave the adjective adventures to the professional wordsmiths, it's obvious this music is furtive ground for lengthy discussion which we look forward to as the rest of the world discovers these magical creations. Watch for a 6 track EP from Fis on Exit Records to follow and much much more from this exciting musical creator.

@The.tamz: I'm on my millionth listen. Straight up though..This whole ep is the type that makes me want to actually just buy the vinyl anyway even though I have no means to listen to it apart from harassing my mates to play it for me when i go round. !! NEED this so bad. YUK!

@sharpenski: Ahh, no it most definitely isn't. I just think the emotions surrounding the tracks on this EP are quite complex and not your bog standard black and white formulaic conventions of electronic music. It doesn't conform to genre rules at all and this is what pushes music forward.
