An 8 year veteran of beak beats, -polyx- is a respected member of the DFW scene. From residencies in the heart of downtown Fort Worth to worldwide broadcasts, this self proclaimed bass addict is no stranger to the 1s and 2s. He got his start back in 2000 at his first party, Sugar 2 in the legendary Austin Music Hall. The DJs at that party (Bad Boy Bill, Donald Glaude, Mistress Barbara among others) were inspirational in their performances. It was just a matter of time before he bought his own decks in 2002 and began to truly find his sound. After hearing Chris Fortier's "Atmospheric Breaks" mix, he was hooked. He fell in love with dem break beats... Today he continues to play regular events in the DFW area and surrounding cities along with worldwide broadcasts out of London, San Diego and Dallas -polyx- loves breaks first and foremost, but is well versed in the tech-funk sound also. Most recently, he has delved into the abstract genre of Ambient / Downtempo too.
