Pole Shift Survival Group has released their debut album on 21 th september 2012.
It's part 1 of a trilogy 'the Entropic Adventures of Pole Shift Survival Group'.
The album is positively reviewed, receiving a.o 4 out 5 stars in Music Maker Magazine while famous Dutch DJ Giel Beelen called it a 'really cool record'.
"About the Sun & how the Seasons change' is a loose 'concept' album, partially inspired by the movie Magnolia, the album "figure 8' by Elliot Smith and borrows heavily from the Beatles' 'Sgt.Peppers Lonely hearts club band.
It's main storyline follows the Frostman in his search for realness in a world that's about to end.
Musically, the story is underlined with multiples layers of overdubs, alternative tunings on the guitar and lead vocals sounding from intimate and husky to emotional and in your face.
The album is accompanied by a 28 page full color booklet which tells a story by itself.
The Group is currently touring the Netherlands.
