About
Pocket Lipps, aka Joe Garlick, has over 11 years experience playing clubs, festivals, radio and abandoned ships of war. He plays an eclectic mix of upfront selections from Tropical & Jacking House, UK bass, Garage, Deep House, Disco & Funk, UK Funky, Electro, Indie, Techno and Dubstep.
In the past he held down a prime time radio show on Radio Active for four years as well as being a resident on the stations seminal techno show Stereonasties. He has played NZ’s legendary dance festival The Gathering multiple times and co-ran the successful Electroluxxe parties in 2006-7 with Samari.
Moving to Amsterdam in 2007 he has supported acts such as Deadboy, Homework and Girl Unit while playing all over town in on of Europe's hottest club scenes.
Over the 2010-2011 summer in New Zealand he supported the likes of Mosca and Roska as well as playing all over the country.
Currently based in London and looking for bookings.
