From the debut EP "Hell a Horse" by Hell Ahoy. Released by Play/Rec March 25th 2013

The three friends Søren, Martin and Adam had no intentions of forming a new band together. But when one of their friends asked them to play a one-off show supporting one of their favorite bands Dope Body (US), a tornado of creative energy was released. After only two visits to the rehearsal room they came out with 7 new tracks and were ready to kick some ass. There was no other plan than to play this single show. No recordings. No releases. No Tours. Nothing. It turned out to be an amazing show filled with energy, primal-screams, guitar-feeds and some amazing hard-hitting rock tracks. Luckily Hell Ahoy decided to keep the ball rolling and record the material the same way it was conceived: Straight forward, Energetic, Creative and Spontaneous. They were in charge themselves: Recording, Mixing & Mastering. Even the artwork was done by the band. And they succeeded in bringing the energy from the concert down on the vinyl. So even though you missed out on the concert on the 10th of October 2012 you still have the chance to feel some of the atmosphere.
