GLD : What do you think about soundcloud (and web promo tools in general) ? Do you think they are changing the music game? For you, what's the next step for the web and music?
      What is next for you?

RB : I fuck wit soundcloud, that shit lets me upload long ass tracks on my tumblr. but I ain't know it was changing the game? lol I'm gonna change the game bitch ,fuck a soundcloud. And my future...best rapper alive..period SSxSL

GLD : This 3rd verse a lot more modern; phones, money and supersaian are more current than Keith Haring and Lisa Ann, obviously. This issue (Of Wad Magazine) is all about H+ (future and evolution) i find your music really futuristic and i can't really explain why, can you?

RB : Because I'm young, but I speak like a nigga with years on him in my opinion. I'm just trying to stray away from all the shit everyone else is doing.I don't even wanna use samples on the albums, I'd rather make something new. The album is about experiencing new things and new people so I don't wanna do any shit that's been done already. I'm really just trying to make the best product I can...so if that's how its coming across to the public that's fine haha

GLD : There are a lot of 80's references here, are you nostalgic? If yes why? Btw do you really wanna fuck Madonna? In the 80's i guess, not right now?

RB : ..I"m very nostalgic...I feel like its my biggest weakness at times, living in the past can fuck your whole shit up. But its just nice sometimes. I might as well reminisce while I still remember it ya feel me? But nah, I don't like wrinkle pussay.

GLD : I think that's the first time i have listened to a rap track about Basquiat, of course he's an important part of black culture but i find this reference pretty white cause he was part of the factory, friends with Warhol and sold to white rich people. Why did you take this reference? Do you prefer his art or the dude himself? What's your favorite painting of him? Can we say he was a gangsta?

RB : Lol I mean I'd have to disagree, I don't think that at all. He was a homeless Zoe who sold his talent to rich white people for money. He was the epitome of a hustla if you ask me, BUT that's not the reason I made the song at all. There's no big reason behind the whole reference, except my hair being untamed like his was, and I use to be in a rap duo where we called ourselves Basquiat and Warhol. That's the only reason behind the song haha sorry it doesn't have a deeper meaning behind it. Nut i like some of his shit, I like the whole SAMO thing he did and the SAMO is dead shit, that's what i modeled CALENDARS after. He's not my favorite painter though, but i really can't say shit else about the man because i didn't know him personally.

GLD : SpaceGhostPurrp produced this track, you can immediately recognize his own dirty futuristic style. How did you meet him? Why this choice for your first single?

RB : Purrp reached out to me on twitter after I dropped the Counting video. A few days later on twitter, I asked him to send me a beat and the first thing he sent me was the instrumental for "Look Like Basquiat". I don't want people to get confused. LLB is not the first single release off YOTS. The first official single off the album has not been chosen yet, but were leaning towards a song called 'M&H'. We won't know for sure until the album is completely finished, which will be no time soon. Around the time I spoke to Purrp is when I first linked up with Mommy Warbucks who's my manager as of now, and her and Purrp have been friends for some time. So one day I was textin' him and he told me to come vibe and he's been like fam ever since.
