Wool - Purple Ohm EP

3 tracks, 19.24 Plant Music on September 26, 2012 18:29

Wool, or DJ Wool as Glen Brady was previously know has been releasing top quality dance music since the very first release on Plant Music (Seed 001) in the late nineties, is back with a 3 track EP of stellar acid tracks entitled "Purple Ohm." Referencing a very popular early rave era blotter the EP is proper dance music. Wool made all three cuts in his Northern Californian studio using modular synths, a Roland 202 and other outboard gear that did NOT include a computer, and boy can you hear the difference. The low end, rippling acid lines and sleek bass sounds like nothing made on a laptop. This is the real deal. We at Plant thought these tracks were so strong on their own that remixes would only compromise the originals. Pure class.
