Dances With White Girls - It's About The House

It's hard to forget someone when they go by the name Dances With White Girls. You may already be familiar with the man for his past affiliation with The Rapture and their then Throne of Blood label and for his most recent collaboration with Mattie Safer (formerly of The Rapture) on "Is That Your Girl?" which he co-produced. After a string of remixes for other artists, Dances is ready to back up his ballsy name with the anthemic "It's About The House," an attitude-filled call to arms for the late-night crowd. This is bare-bones house track that reminds us of its roots in the basements, warehouses and hoods of Chicago. It ain't pretty but it sure feels good.
