Atlanta's premier bass mechanic Mayhem has just handed us one of the heaviest, most well produced EPs that we have heard in a very long time. Joining forces with some of his 404 click as well as two of our very own Subhuman Warlords, Mayhem has raised the bar in terms of sub manipulation, dancefloor energy and outright bad ass fucking nastiness.
Starting off the EP with the militant "Full Metal Jacket" (alongside Bare, Logam and TL), we essentially have a full blown military strike going down - dramatic strings, clattering gunshells and a nuclear missile of low end that has been terminating soundsystems for months. Then comes "Nerds" (w/ Mark Instinct) and with it, another insanely heavy dubstep lesson on how to decimate dancefloors. Absolutely crushing! "Remember Me" has a deceptively tranced out intro featuring the beautiful vocals of Naz Tokio...but when this thing jumps off you better hang on! Shuddering layers of crystalline bass, banging drums and an intense shrieking bass dive guaranteed to put the hurt on you. Finally comes "Cryptkeeper" with its clever intro vocal, huge drums and gutwrenching drop. You can hear the trap influence all through this one. BANGER!
Listen up! Mayhem truly brings his AAA game to this release so DO. NOT. SLEEP!
