Carl Daniel aka Planet Heaven has been producing and performing music for over 15 years. His first major success was writing, producing and performing with the Bassheads culminating in three top 20 UK hits and an album including the prolific 'Is There Anybody Out There?' In 2000 he set up Helix Music and Hard Discs Recordings with Jonny Williams ( Polydor, Island, Sony BMG) and Rob Murphy off the back of Planet Heaven's 'Nautical Bodies', a huge progressive trance track championed by Paul Oakenfold. Helix/Hard Discs released Planet Heaven's dark and dirty Fire Fly/ Revoltions EP whilst working with new artists including Nelski who has since had his own success's with Rythm Code, his solo work and calloborations with Chris Lake.

In 2001 after remixing for 3 Beat, they released the next three Planet Heaven singles, Predator, Prey and 'Where Are We Going To?. The last Planet Heaven work was in 2004 producing Clannad's Caislean Oir for their remastered album Macala.
