Planet KL was an event company based in Holland. The company was founded in 2004 by company owner Ingmar Hugen who needed an outfit for his hobby: inviting artists from all over the world to perform in various dutch venues. Over the years Planet KL brought legendary reggae toaster U-Brown back on stage in Holland after a 10 year void; was among the first to bring the german/english hipsters Jahcoozi into the Dutch clubcircuit; had big succes with SoulJazz's 100% Dynamite blasts; was very succesfull with the first Dutch live performances of Nigerian souldiva Nneka and was going strong with the Dub Infusions and Swipe series. The latter was and still is rated highly by dubstep pioneers, producers, dj's and fans alike.

Planet KL was also an agency for a couple of years, bringing fresh new talent such as AstroPoser, 2000f, Presk & Akkachar to the spotlight and beyond. But with climates changing Planet KL decided it was time to put things on hold for a while. I'm still lurking though...
