About

Planet KL is an event company based in Holland. The company was founded in 2004 by company owner Ingmar Hugen who needed an outfit for his hobby: inviting artists from all over the world to perform in various dutch venues. Over the years Planet KL brought legendary reggae toaster U-Brown back on stage in Holland after a 10 year void; was among the first to bring the german/english hipsters Jahcoozi into the Dutch clubcircuit; had big succes with SoulJazz's 100% Dynamite blasts; was very succesfull with the first Dutch live performances of Nigerian souldiva Nneka and is currently going strong with the Dub Infusions series. The latter is rated highly by dubstep pioneers, producers, dj's and fans alike.

Planet KL was an agency for 2 years, bringing fresh new talent such as AstroPoser, 2000f, Presk & Akkachar to the spotlight and beyond. But with climates changing and little ones being born, Planet KL decided it was time to go back to the core. Its newest concept is called "Swipe", a party where you can expect anything in between leftfield arsenicum beats and dark keta breaks. Or: the best in modern electronic music, if you like...
