About
Madruler (aka Plakka), born and raised in Brasschaat (Antwerp / Belgium), started out as a dj in 1993, playing house, techno and the odd funk & soul-set with his dad's record collection. When studying communications at the university in '95 he permanently switched to jungle & drum 'n bass and teamed up with his mate LMNT to form BMdoubleV. Around 2001, with the help of fellow hometown d&b nuttahs, he started the CONNECTED-crew to organise parties in and around Antwerp. After graduating as a sound engineer, Madruler started focussing on production around 2005 under his new Plakka-alias. Plakka stands for deep drum & bass, dubstep and down tempo stuff ....
