i have just self-released a new album, entitled "seven" via Bandcamp - please follow the link, should you wish to. "seven" is a collection of tracks that are a kind of homage to Cumbria, and it's countryside. and it is also where i had lived for the past 12 years.. it's made up of seven tracks,and comes in at just over an hour long. it is mostly meditative stuff, utilising a lot of field recordings that i'd made during my time out and about,. both in the countryside, and at my home.

i'm an ambient musician, sound engineer/producer and sound designer, currently based in Cumbria, in the U.K, and i am also a full-time member of the global musical collective 48cameras, whose main base is in Belgium
so far i've had three album's released officially, the most recent being "memento" on the relaxed Machinery net label , plus "holding on - letting go" and "is", which were both originally released on Atmoworks, but they have now been released by the U.K based record label Trace Recordings. i self-released the album "the more i look the less i see" as a free download in march 2009, and that album has now been taken on by another U.S based label - no more news about that as of july 2011.
i also released 3 albums with Australia, now U.S based ambient guru Disturbed Earth (Dean Richards). 2 under the name stillEarth, one as a straight collaboration. all 3 were released on Atmoworks, but are sadly no longer available.
95% of the sounds i use and make are created using just the bass guitar as the main sound source. i rarely use synthesiser sounds, and all my recordings are done in the analogue domain, with 2 ESI400 hardware samplers at the heart of my recording set-up.
there is also a 5 track E.P, that i recorded in 2010 with an Estonian poet called Ellom, that has now been released via Bandcamp.
