This CD came in the post to me at Dirty Water Records here in London, all the way from Canada, loose in an envelope. The covering letter said:
"Hello. I like punk music. I have thousands of hours of singing practice. Singing is all I did in high school. I included in the envelope a CD of me singing, from a few years ago. I only had a one minute recorder on my computer so I sang fast. My regular style is slower. But I do enjoy singing fast. The songs are comprised of bands that have inspired me. I am looking for a band and have not had much success. I hope that by writing to record labels and including a CD of me singing might get me help. I do not play an instrument. I would like to make music. Please phone and mail me if interested."
And upon listening to it, I decided it was such a work of genius that I had to share the sounds I heard. Unfortunately, this solo vocalist is based in small-town British Columbia, Canada, so a bit too far away for me to do much to assist him. If you're in his neck of the woods and seriously want to form a band with him then I'll put you in touch with each other.

Pure genius! This guy should make a spokenword solo album instead of looking for a backup band (who would probably suck anyway) because this is as punk as it gets!

seems to be channeling the voice of Liam Gallagher whilst chewing a vocoder simultaneously at this point.

@seams: I recognised a couple as Ten Foot Pole, and there's some Goldfinger, one by Good Riddance...

@PJ Crittenden: there should be prizes for those who can work out which songs he's singing.

@seams: No, the CD came to me like that. No titles, just Track 1, Track 2, etc. I saved it as one long track using iTunes to upload it because I thought it'd be easier and quicker.

wow, never in my wildest dreams did I ever think I'd hear music that could best be described as "John McCririck meets the Legendary Stardust Cowboy". Outstanding.
