This song was based on the fundamental concept that we as humans share the same basic building blocks that every other living organism shares on the planet:

Thymine
Cytosine
These nucleobases appear to be alien born, brought to earth via asteroids millions of years ago in our young Earth's past. Thus, we are all immigrants to this rock we call home. With this in mind, it seems particularly peculiar how often national policy gravitates toward isolationist concepts.
