Daniel Roth is known throughout the world as one of the top interpreters of the music of Charles-Marie Widor. In this release a Mr. Roth plays Widor Symphonies # 9 (Gothic) and # 10 (Romaine) on the Cavaille-Coll pipe organ at Saint-Sulpice in Paris, France.

Cavaille-Coll’s masterpiece at Saint-Sulpice is still largely left as he would have known the pipe organ in the mid 19th century. The instrument is revered by organists throughout the world for the sheer beauty of its tone. It is the perfect instrument to record Widor symphonies on.
